Job summary

DFP Recruitment on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Electrical Safety & Training Coordinator to move beyond hands-on electrical work and lead training across electrical disciplines in Nerang.

You will coordinate training programs, coach apprentices and workers, provide practical technical guidance to supervisors and project managers, help improve the Electrical Training Centre's capability pathways, and support safety initiatives on major civil and electrical projects.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrical Mechanic with a current Queensland Electrical Work Licence.
• Experience in electrical construction, maintenance or civil construction.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent is desirable.

Electrical Safety & Training Coordinator

$69.21 | 12-month contract | Nerang, Gold Coast

Our state government partner is seeking an experienced Electrical Mechanic to step into an Electrical Capability Coordinator role on the Gold Coast. Use your electrical expertise to train, coach and build the capability of a dynamic electrical workforce.

About the role

This is a hands-on capability role for an electrician who knows the industry and enjoys helping others succeed. You'll coordinate training, support competency development and provide practical technical guidance across electrical, ITS&E and civil electrical disciplines. You'll also play a key role in improving the Electrical Training Centre's programs and capability pathways.

About you

• Confident sharing your knowledge and coaching people at different levels.


• Strong understanding of electrical safety and quality requirements.


• A current C class driver's licence.


• Experience in training, auditing or workplace investigations will be highly regarded.


• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent is desirable.
