Job summary

Glencore’s Mount Isa operation seeks an Engineering Project Supervisor (Electrical) to lead and safely deliver high‑impact electrical projects across a major mining site in Mount Isa, QLD. This residential role offers a 5/2, 4/3 roster and direct reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer – High Voltage Projects, delivering outcomes within safety, quality and budget targets.

You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage contractors, and drive performance improvements while maintaining

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising electrical or multi-disciplinary projects.
• Experience in mining, industrial, or heavy industry environments.
• Strong leadership, contractor management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of Australian standards and WHS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver electrical projects within budgets and standards.
• Develop detailed project execution plans and resource requirements.
• Coordinate labour and site works to ensure safe execution.
• Manage contractor and project personnel performance to maximise efficiency.
• Provide regular project reporting and financial tracking.
• Mentor junior engineers within the team.
• Support maintenance and shutdown activities as required.
• Maintain project records and documentation (permits, JSEAs).
