Job summary

Glencore Mount Isa Mines in Mount Isa, QLD, is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Electrical & Technical Instruments team within the Copper Smelter Maintenance group.

You will supervise a skilled team delivering maintenance, calibration, projects, and minor installations, coordinating with operations and engineering to meet safety, reliability and production targets.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Electrical Mechanic or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years post-trade experience in a fixed plant environment.
• Experience supervising electrical maintenance teams in a complex site.
• Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, instrumentation and safety standards.
• Experience coordinating contractors, projects and shutdowns.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control shift maintenance to optimise resources.
• Coordinate Tech Instrument team and maintenance activities.
• Support broader Electrical Maintenance teams and contractors.
• Manage shutdowns and electrical projects; ensure safety and compliance.
• Lead, coach and develop the maintenance team; drive continuous improvement.
