Job summary

South32’s Cannington operation in northwest Queensland seeks an Electrical Project Lead to drive end-to-end projects from scope to delivery, ensuring safety, quality and on-time outcomes.

You will lead multiple workstreams, manage cost, schedule and risk, and build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners on a permanent basis.

This role offers a 8:6 roster with FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns, or DIDO from Mount Isa and surrounding shires.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, or relevant experience in an associated Engineering discipline.
• Current C Class Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects through all lifecycle phases to agreed quality standards.
• Act as the single point of accountability for scope, cost, schedule and risk.
• Establish effective stakeholder relationships across internal and external partners.
• Maintain disciplined reporting aligned to organisational project frameworks.
