Job summary

Milek Engineering in Mackay is seeking a Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of electrical projects from design to commissioning. You will build and manage relationships with suppliers, contractors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of innovative solutions.

Oversee manufacture and service overhauls of PLC enclosures to mobile substations for mining, OEMs and construction. You will bring strong project management experience, fault-finding skills, and knowledge of lean

Qualifications

• Electrical trade or engineering qualification required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment, especially switchboard/control panels.
• Exposure to lean manufacturing principles.
• Knowledge of electrical protection/control methodologies.
• Familiarity with project management software/tools.
• Strong project management skills coordinating suppliers, contractors and internal teams.

We're Looking for Candidates with:

• High-level technical expertise & fault-finding skills, ideally with an electrical trade or engineering background
• Experience in switchboard/control panel manufacturing
• Project management experience
• A solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles
• Knowledge of workshop manufacturing/service/overhaul processes and electrical protection/control methodologies
• Familiarity with project management software/tools
