Working across manufacturing, food and beverage, agriculture, water treatment, mining and industrial processing, our projects have a direct impact on our clients' operational performance.

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to fill a newly created role, who can take charge of projects, work through problems and take direct responsibility for how each job performs.

You'll need to be comfortable making decisions, leading from the front and keeping several projects moving at once. That means spotting risks early, staying on top of the details and making sure each job is delivered safely, professionally and profitably.

The Role

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the complete project lifecycle, from estimating and planning through to commissioning, handover and project close-out.

You will be trusted to lead project delivery, manage client relationships, coordinate resources and maintain commercial performance while working closely with electricians, engineers, suppliers and subcontractors.

Success in this role requires someone who is highly organised, technically competent, commercially aware and comfortable making decisions and driving projects forward independently.

Key Responsibilities

Identify long-lead and critical equipment requirements.
Manage procurement activities and supplier engagement.
Ensure materials, equipment and resources are available when required.
Anticipate project risks and implement practical mitigation strategies before impacts occur.

Client & Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication across all parties.
Manage expectations and address issues proactively.
Identify opportunities to support clients and generate future project opportunities.

Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement

Ensure compliance with all safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
Maintain project documentation and reporting standards.
Drive continuous improvement across project delivery, estimating and procurement processes.

About You

You may already be working as an Electrical Project Manager, or you may be an experienced Electrical Supervisor, Project Engineer, Site Manager or Project Coordinator ready to step into a leadership role.

Essential Experience & Skills

Project management experience within electrical, industrial or engineering environments.
Strong estimating, budgeting and commercial management capability.
Understanding of industrial electrical installations and project delivery.
Ability to read drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
Experience coordinating field teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
Strong planning, reporting and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Advanced Excel and project reporting capability.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Highly Regarded

Electrical trade background.
Experience within manufacturing, food processing, agriculture, water or mining industries.
Exposure to switchboards, MCCs, automation or control systems.
Procurement and supplier management experience.
Experience delivering complex industrial projects in live operational environments.
