Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0–6 years' experience in related fields.
• Exposure to industrial, mining, utilities, water, ports or infrastructure projects advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• A proactive attitude and genuine desire to continue learning.
• Australian working rights and a current driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Design HV and LV electrical power systems and infrastructure.
• Prepare single line diagrams, schematics, layouts and engineering documentation.
• Complete electrical calculations including cable sizing, fault levels, protection and earthing studies.
• Undertake site inspections, investigations and condition assessments.
• Assist with equipment selection, technical evaluations and vendor coordination.
• Support construction, testing and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients and contractors.
• Produce high-quality engineering documentation in accordance with Australian Standards.
• Identify technical risks and develop practical engineering solutions.Contribute to project planning, scheduling and delivery.

About the Company

Our client is a growing engineering consultancy delivering electrical engineering solutions across industrial, mining, utilities, water, ports and infrastructure projects throughout Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career Electrical Engineer looking to broaden their technical capability while gaining exposure to all stages of the engineering lifecycle, from concept and design through to site investigations, commissioning and project delivery.

The Role

Working alongside experienced engineers, you will contribute to a variety of electrical engineering projects while progressively taking ownership of design calculations, technical documentation, site investigations and client support. You'll gain valuable exposure to both office-based design and practical site work, developing the skills and judgement required to become a well-rounded consulting engineer.

About You
