Chandler Macleod Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Lead to support a portfolio of capital projects at a large industrial operation in Gladstone. You will lead electrical capital projects from planning and scope development through to execution, commissioning and handover in a live operating environment.

This 6-12 month contract role is on site in Gladstone. Initial projects include HV and LV substation cell replacements and switchgear upgrades, with opportunities to lead

Competenze

• Experience delivering electrical capital projects in industrial settings.
• HV and LV electrical infrastructure project experience.
• Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule and cost.
• Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer or equivalent.
• Experience with ABB switchgear or protection systems is a plus.

Electrical Project Lead (Contract) | Gladstone, QLD

An experienced Electrical Project Lead is required to support a portfolio of capital projects at a large industrial operation in Gladstone.
Working within a live operating environment, you will lead electrical capital projects from planning and scope development through to execution, commissioning and handover.

About the Role

Working within an operational industrial facility, you will lead the delivery of electrical infrastructure projects from planning and execution through to commissioning and handover.
Initial projects will include HV and LV substation cell replacements and associated switchgear upgrades, providing the opportunity to lead critical electrical infrastructure improvements within an operational industrial facility.

This is an initial 6-12 month contract role based full-time on site in Gladstone. Accommodation, FIFO and livingaway from home allowances are not available.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical capital projects from concept, planning and execution through to handover
• Manage contractors, consultants and project delivery partners
• Coordinate project scopes, schedules, budgets and risk management activities
• Engage closely with operations, maintenance and engineering stakeholders
• Monitor project progress and provide regular reporting to key stakeholders
• Support procurement, vendor management and contract administration activities
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards, engineering requirements and regulatory obligations
• Coordinate commissioning activities and project close-out documentation

About You

• Demonstrated experience delivering electrical capital projects within industrial, manufacturing, resources, chemical or process plant environments
• Experience delivering HV and/or LV electrical infrastructure projects
• Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement capability
• Ability to manage project scope, schedule, cost and delivery outcomes
• Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer or equivalent project delivery background
• Experience with ABB switchgear or protection systems will be highly regarded
