Job summary

Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Lead for a 6-12 month, on-site contract in Gladstone, QLD. You will lead electrical capital projects from planning through to commissioning in a live industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer or equivalent
• Experience delivering electrical capital projects in industrial settings
• Experience with HV and LV electrical infrastructure
• Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, and cost

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical capital projects from concept, planning and execution through to handover
• Manage contractors, consultants and project delivery partners
• Coordinate project scopes, schedules, budgets and risk management activities
• Engage closely with operations, maintenance and engineering stakeholders
• Monitor project progress and provide regular reporting to key stakeholders
• Support procurement, vendor management and contract administration activities
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards, engineering requirements and regulatory obligations
• Coordinate commissioning activities and project close-out documentation
