Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Senior Electrical Construction Manager to lead the site-wide electrical construction and delivery of a major hyperscale data centre project in Queensland. This full-time leadership role oversees a substantial LV electrical package across multiple frontlines, coordinating across construction, engineering, HSE, logistics and controls.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade or engineering background.
• 12+ years' experience in senior site leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple crews and concurrent work fronts.
• Experience operating at 150+ workforce scale, including shift operations.
• Strong LV electrical construction and installation knowledge.
• Strong understanding of WHS, permits, isolations and major-project compliance.
• Proven ability to drive productivity and performance across large site teams.
• Experience operating within structured Tier 1 construction environments.
• Data centre or mission-critical experience highly regarded.

• Lead construction and operational delivery across multiple electrical sections and work fronts.
• Coordinate Project Managers, Site Managers, engineering teams and trade personnel across the project.
• Manage the senior site interface with the Tier 1 head contractor.
• Drive workforce planning, labour allocation, productivity and shift performance.
• Coordinate site-wide logistics including laydown areas, deliveries, cranes and access equipment.
• Oversee the interface between construction, HSE, plant and equipment, and central stores.
• Manage plant and access allocation across competing project sections.
• Identify and remove construction constraints impacting program or productivity.
• Maintain effective coordination and handover between shift operations.
• Drive compliance with SWMS, permits, isolations, WHS requirements and project controls.

Job description

Lead the site-wide electrical construction and operational delivery of a major Tier 1 hyperscale data centre project in Queensland. This is a senior, full-time leadership position with responsibility for the safe and efficient delivery of a substantial LV electrical package across multiple concurrent sections, work fronts and shifts. The project incorporates general light and power, mechanical services mains power, cable containment and associated LV electrical infrastructure, requiring extensive coordination across construction, engineering, HSE, plant, logistics and project controls. You will operate at the centre of the project delivery structure, providing leadership across a large electrical workforce and ensuring multiple delivery sections operate as one coordinated construction operation.

About you
