Job summary

Linkforce is seeking Project Engineers (Electrical) to join our Perth-based team in a hybrid role, with FIFO on site. This permanent full-time position involves contributing to multidisciplinary project delivery and coordinating planning, documentation, and reporting to ensure successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate will hold an Electrical Engineering degree, have experience in mining/industrial construction projects, and possess strong MS Office skills; Primavera or Pronto experience is a

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Proven experience delivering multidiscipline construction projects in mining/industrial environments.
• Construction/PM qualification is highly desirable; strong MS Office skills incl. Project & Excel.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Detail and document all phases of the project.
• Plan materials and ensure optimal utilisation of resources.
• Prepare detailed work packs for execution teams.
• Assist with project plans, schedules and reporting.
• Identify, investigate, and report actions, resolutions and costs of vendor NCRs.
• Ensure variations are approved and claims maximised without impacting client relations.
• Review site QA documentation and compile close-out records.
• Maintain compliance with client and statutory quality and safety requirements.
• Monitor Electrical quality and statutory documentation and systems.
• Conduct regular audits of electrical activities.

From design through to completion and handover, we are able to supply, maintain and manage all aspects of projects works including, remedial works, capital works and expansion projects.

The Role

We are currently seeking Project Engineers (Electrical) to join our existing team in a hybrid role working from our Perth CBD Office as week as FIFO on site. In this permanent full time role, you will play a vital part in the delivery of multidisciplinary projects and responsible for:

• Detailing and documenting all phases of project
• Planning all materials and ensuring optimal utilisation of all resources
• Preparation of detailed work packs
• Assisting with project plans, schedules and reporting
• Identify, investigate, record, monitor and report on actions, resolutions, and costs of identified vendor NCRs
• Ensuring all variations to scope and or specifications are approved, documented and claims maximised without adversely affecting the client relationship
• Reviewing completed site quality documentation and compiling close out documentations
• Ensuring all projects are completed in accordance with client and statutory quality and safety requirements
• Monitoring and managing Electrical Quality and Statutory Documentation and Systems
• Conducting regular audits on electrical activities

What You'll Need

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role, with the ability to demonstrate:

• Electrical Engineering Degree
• Experience in successfully delivering multidiscipline (CSMPEI or SMPEI) construction projects in mining and/or other industrial construction environments
• Construction and/or Project Management qualification is highly desirable
• Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software including Project & Excel
• Primavera and/or Pronto knowledge would be advantageous
• A current Australian Drivers Licence
