Job summary

Tassal Group is seeking a Maintenance Officer for our Dover site to join the electrical team. You will respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and maintain electrical equipment, working with PLC/SCADA systems and HV equipment.

This is a hands-on role with on-call provisions, shift work including weekends, and opportunities to contribute to safety, efficiency, and reliability across the site. Applicants must hold a current Electrical Licence and have full working rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• Current Electrical Licence (mandatory).
• Industrial electrical experience required.
• Exposure to PLC and SCADA systems (desirable).
• High voltage experience (preferred but not essential).
• Willingness to participate in shift cover, weekends and overtime as required.
• Current driver\'s licence.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Must pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and test, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, components, and systems.
• Work with PLC and SCADA‑based systems, network cabling (fibre and copper), variable speed drives, large generators, LV power distribution, and instrumentation.
• Interpret electrical schematics to ensure effective troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Proactively identify and address potential issues to minimise downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
• Uphold safety standards and contribute to our Zero Harm culture.
