Job summary

SAGE Automation, a Tetra Tech company, is Australia’s leading independent industrial automation and control systems integrator, seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor in Darwin to lead a team of Technicians on site. The role focuses on safe, efficient delivery of high-standard electrical control solutions across diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• Must hold NT A-Grade Electrical Licence.
• EEHA qualification desirable.
• Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation and Control is desirable.
• Unrestricted Australian drivers licence.
• Australian citizenship and Baseline Security Clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support a diverse range of customers and industry sectors.
• Manage a program of works including electrical inspections and upgrades, brownfield projects, shutdown planning and execution.
• Undertake maintenance work on electrical, instrumentation and metering systems.
• Conduct Hazardous Area inspections and general electrical, small installations, inspection and servicing.
• Design and implement Electrical and Instrumentation isolation plans.
• Use systems to manage programmed maintenance activities, drawings and datasheets.
• Communicate delays, issues, or risks to project schedules and propose mitigation strategies.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and customers.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experience Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor to lead a team of Technicians within our Darwin office, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a very high standard.

In This Role You Will

• Support a diverse range of customers and industry sectors.
• Manage a program of works including electrical inspections and upgrades, brownfield projects, shutdown planning and execution.
• Undertake maintenance work on electrical, instrumentation and metering systems.
• Conduct Hazardous Area inspections, as well as general electrical, small installations, inspection and servicing.
• Design and implement Electrical and Instrumentation isolation plans.
• Use systems to effectively and accurately manage programmed maintenance activities, drawings and technical datasheets.
• Communicate any potential delays, issues, or risks to project schedules and propose mitigation strategies.
• Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and customers.

Skills And Experience

• You will have an A-Grade Electrical Licence for NT.
• Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation and Control is desirable.
• Hazardous Areas (EEHA) qualification is desirable.
• Verifiable heavy industry experience working in a similar capacity which required the use of your Electrical Workers License.
• Unrestricted Australian drivers licence.
• Strong communication & computer literacy.
• Experience in supervising Electrical Apprentices, team members & subcontractors on site.
• Applicants must be Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance.
