Job summary

SAGE Automation, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor in Darwin to lead a team of Technicians. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across projects.

Responsibilities include managing electrical inspections, brownfield upgrades, maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems, and Hazardous Area tasks. Strong leadership, licencing, and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• A-Grade Electrical Licence for NT is required.
• Certificate III/IV in Instrumentation & Control is desirable.
• Hazardous Areas (EEHA) qualification is desirable.
• Heavy industry experience with Electrical Workers License is preferred.
• Unrestricted Australian driving licence is required.
• Strong communication & computer literacy are essential.
• Experience supervising apprentices, team members and subcontractors on site.
• Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain Baseline Security Clearance.

• Manage a program of works including electrical inspections and upgrades, brownfield projects, shutdown planning and execution.
• Undertake maintenance work on electrical, instrumentation and metering systems.
• Conduct Hazardous Area inspections and general electrical, small installations, inspection and servicing.
• Design and implement Electrical and Instrumentation isolation plans.
• Use systems to manage programmed maintenance activities, drawings and datasheets.
• Communicate delays, issues or risks to project schedules and propose mitigation strategies.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customers.

In this role you will:

• Communicate any potential delays, issues, or risks to project schedules and propose mitigation strategies.

• Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and customers.

Skills and Experience:

• You will have an A-Grade Electrical Licence for NT.

• Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation and Control is desirable.

• Hazardous Areas (EEHA) qualification is desirable.

• Verifiable heavy industry experience working in a similar capacity which required the use of your Electrical Workers License.

• Unrestricted Australian drivers licence.

• Strong communication & computer literacy.

• Experience in supervising Electrical Apprentices, team members & subcontractors on site.

• Applicants must be Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance.
