Zusammenfassung

Enertis Applus+ seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its Engineering division in Australia. You will deliver electrical designs for wind, solar, and BESS projects across the Pacific region, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and safety protocols.

You will collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and environmental specialists, perform site inspections, and provide technical due diligence and consultancy services.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Australian renewable energy sector, focusing on wind, solar and BESS projects.
• Engineers Australia registration.
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as ETAP / DigSilent / Homer Pro or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of Australian electrical codes, standards and safety regulations.
• Experience delivering Owner's Engineer, Technical Due Diligence or Independent Engineering services for renewable energy projects is highly regarded.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Project management experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and review detailed electrical engineering designs, calculations, specifications and cost estimates for wind, solar, and BESS projects.
• Ensure electrical designs comply with relevant Australian standards, regulations and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
• Perform site inspections and provide technical support during development, construction and operation.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new and existing projects.
• Provide consultancy services to clients on electrical engineering aspects of renewable energy projects.
• Prepare and review plans, commissioning procedures and other electrical aspects of project contracts.
