Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Building Services team in Brisbane or on the Sunshine Coast. You will join a diverse group delivering major projects across Australia, coordinating MEP design with structural, civil, and architectural disciplines.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, RPEQ, and 5+ years of local experience in Queensland. You will mentor junior staff, help develop technical standards, and contribute to an environment that values

Qualifications

• RPEQ with degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or relevant tertiary qualification in related discipline.
• 5+ years of local experience in the QLD market with knowledge of Australian electrical engineering design standards, codes and practices.
• Knowledge of Defence standards with an understanding of multi-disciplinary requirements of Defence projects in feasibility, preliminary and detailed design.
• A history of completing building services projects successfully.

Responsibilities

• Managing and delivering projects in a timely and technically competent manner.
• Coordination of MEP design disciplines with Structural, Civil and Architecture while producing high quality designs.
• Preparation of calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Lead electrical and multidiscipline project teams.
• Provide Mentoring and technical support to the electrical discipline.
• Assist with the development of technical standards and design excellence.
