Job summary

Mott MacDonald’s Building Services team seeks Electrical Engineers for Brisbane or Sunshine Coast offices. Join a diverse, knowledgeable group delivering major Australian projects and advancing building services across the Queensland region.

You will collaborate with the project team to manage and deliver timely, high-quality designs, lead multidisciplinary groups, and mentor junior engineers while upholding design excellence and standards.

Qualifications

• RPEQ with degree qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of local experience in the QLD market with knowledge of Australian electrical engineering design standards, codes and practices.
• Knowledge of Defence standards with an understanding of multi-disciplinary requirements of Defence projects in feasibility, preliminary and detailed design.
• A history of completing building services projects successfully.
• Able to develop and implement processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Managing and delivering projects in a timely and technically competent manner.
• Coordination of MEP design disciplines with Structural, Civil and Architecture while producing high quality designs.
• Preparation of calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Lead electrical and multidiscipline project teams.
• Provide mentoring and technical support to the electrical discipline.
• Assist with the development of technical standards and design excellence.
