Job summary

Akaysha Energy pty is leading the energy transition with utility-scale BESS projects. You will drive technical direction from design reviews through Investment Committee approval and own OEM engagement, supplier selection, and contract evaluations for batteries, PCS, and key technologies.

You will build engineering tools and governance to scale our portfolio globally while balancing technical performance with project risk and commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in BESS technology and project design.
• Proven ability to manage engineering risk across projects.
• Strong commercial judgement balancing cost, risk and outcomes.
• Ability to translate technical detail into executive recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction of utility-scale BESS projects from design reviews to Investment Committee approval.
• Own OEM engagement, supplier selection and contract technical evaluations for batteries, PCS and key technologies.
• Drive techno-commercial assessments, pricing strategies and bid responses.
• Build and maintain engineering tools, standards and governance to scale globally.
