Job summary

Akaysha Energy is building the world’s most powerful battery and is expanding its Development Engineering team. You will act as a technical expert on BESS and PCS technologies, shaping procurement approaches for a global project portfolio.

You’ll lead design reviews, engage OEMs, evaluate suppliers, and develop engineering tools and governance to scale our solutions across Australia, Japan, the US and Europe while delivering real, tangible energy-transition outcomes.

• Drive techno-commercial assessments, pricing strategies and bid responses shaping the portfolio.
• Build and maintain engineering tools, standards and governance to scale globally.

We built the world’s most powerful battery, the 850MW Waratah Super Battery, and now we need more technical experts to help us on our mission.

Akaysha build, own, and operate our assets, we don’t hand a project to someone else once it’s approved. The people who design a battery site are the same people who build it and run it for the next twenty years.

You’ll join our Development Engineering team, and act as one of our technical experts on BESS and PCS Technologies. You will drive decisions play a key role in shaping Akaysha's approach to technology procurement across its international project portfolio.

What you'll do
