Job summary

JBS Dinmore is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Maintenance Engineering team, driving reliability, innovation and continuous improvement across operations. You will manage maintenance and improvement activities of electrical, control and automation systems to ensure reliability and operational performance.

You will provide technical leadership in electrical engineering, automation and control while delivering key projects and supporting maintenance teams on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required.
• Significant experience in industrial electrical engineering, automation and control systems.
• Experience leading maintenance and CI initiatives within manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, networks and process control systems.
• Proven project management experience including capital projects and plant upgrades.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Engineering, Leadership or Management desirable.
• Experience within food processing, manufacturing, FMCG or heavy industry environments desirable.
• Experience managing automation, process control and digital transformation projects desirable.

Job description

JBS Dinmore is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Maintenance Engineering team and play a key role in driving reliability, innovation and continuous improvement across our operations. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Electrical Engineer is responsible for managing the short and long-term maintenance and improvement activities of the site's electrical, control and automation systems.

This role will ensure the ongoing reliability, availability and capability of critical plant infrastructure while supporting operational performance, safety and continuous improvement initiatives. You will provide technical leadership across electrical engineering, automation and control systems while managing key projects and supporting maintenance teams across the site.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• Significant experience in industrial electrical engineering, automation and control systems
• Experience leading maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
