Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Brisbane, QLD | Construction Electrical | Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our QLD Construction Electrical team in Brisbane.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in the design and engineering delivery of electrical projects, working closely with clients, project teams, site personnel, suppliers and external engineering partners.

This is a hands-on engineering role offering exposure across project delivery and future tenders, with the opportunity to contribute to practical, innovative and commercially sound engineering solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

as an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality project designs and technical documentation while ensuring solutions meet project specifications, Australian Standards, budgets and delivery timeframes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Deliver electrical project designs and associated technical documentation.
• Provide technical advice to clients, site teams and suppliers throughout project delivery.
• Support project teams with technical queries and engineering solutions.
• Review designs to ensure compliance with project specifications, briefs and relevant Australian Standards.
• Coordinate engineering activities to support construction programs and project schedules.
• Liaise with third-party engineers, consultants, suppliers and technical specialists.
• Support commercial activities including pricing, quotations and tender reviews.
• Assist with technical recommendations, cost estimates, budgets, bids and contract scopes.
• Present and communicate engineering designs and technical solutions to key stakeholders.
• Ensure engineering deliverables are completed accurately, on time and within budget.
• Identify practical solutions to technical and project challenges.
• Manage competing priorities and work effectively both autonomously and as part of a broader project team.

About You:

You are a practical and solutions-focused Electrical Engineer who enjoys working across both the technical and project delivery sides of construction.

You will have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 4 years' experience working with LV electrical systems.
• Experience working with HV systems.
• Experience with communications systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical design, documentation and relevant Australian Standards.
• Previous experience within construction, building services or project-based electrical environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to communicate effectively with clients, project teams, contractors and suppliers.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with relevant programming or engineering software would be advantageous.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute positively to the wider project team.
