Job summary

SamePage Personnel in Brisbane is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join a respected Building Services consultancy. You’ll work on electrical design projects from concept to delivery, with site visits and client exposure, and lead smaller projects as you grow into senior roles.

A strong emphasis on communication, negotiation and project management is essential. Offer includes a strong starting salary negotiable on experience, potential for progression, and optional remote work 1–2 days

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in building services consulting in Australia.
• Relevant engineering diploma/degree (Australian institution preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Bluebeam software and project management experience.

$120K–$160K + Super (negotiable on experience)

An established and highly respected Brisbane-based Building Services Engineering consultancy is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their team — someone ready to step up, not just tick boxes.

This isn't a "sit at your desk and crunch numbers" role.

You’ll be:

• Getting out to site and in front of clients — this is a relationship-driven role, not a back-office one
• You’ll manage multiple electrical design projects concurrently, working closely with clients, contractors and consultants from concept through to delivery.
• Taking ownership of smaller projects and starting to build the people-leadership muscle that comes with seniority
• Designing power and distribution — across a wide variety & diversity of projects, using the “full technical toolkit”

If you’re a smart, hungry intermediate / senior Electrical Engineer looking for a genuine growth path toward a senior management role — with real autonomy, client exposure and a leader who’ll back you — this is worth a conversation.

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in building services consulting, in Australia
• A relevant engineering diploma / degree (Australian institution preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of Bluebeam software
• Solid project management experience — programs, budgets, deliverables
• Confident client-facing and negotiation skills
• Comfortable running site meetings and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Eligibility for NER — bonus points if you’re already a certified Design Practitioner under the DB&P Act
• Solid grasp of the relevant Standards and Codes
• A commercial head on your shoulders — you get that time, productivity and quality all cost money
• A well-presented, can-do attitude, and the self-motivation to run with things

You’ll need to be an Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen — sponsorship is not on the table for this one.
