Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years' experience in building services consulting.
• Delivering large, complex projects in Transport, Hospitals/Health, Education, Defence or Government infrastructure.
• Chartered status or working towards Chartership is highly regarded.

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services systems including: Power distribution, Lighting and lighting controls, Emergency and standby power, Communications and ICT infrastructure, Security and access control systems.
• Manage projects, budgets, resources and client expectations.
• Provide technical leadership and quality assurance across project teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop junior and intermediate engineers.
• Support business development activities and contribute to winning new work.

Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer - Building Services

Brisbane, QLD | $150,000 - $180,000 Package

Are you ready to take the lead on some of Australia's most complex and high-profile projects?

We're partnering with a highly respected engineering consultancy with a strong pipeline of major projects across transport, health, education, defence and critical infrastructure. Due to continued growth in Queensland, we're seeking a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer to play a key role in project delivery, client management and team leadership.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, technically strong team where you'll have genuine influence over project outcomes, mentoring initiatives and business growth.

The Opportunity

As a Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer, you'll lead the design and delivery of building services electrical solutions across major multidisciplinary projects from concept through to construction.

Working closely with clients, architects and engineering disciplines, you'll be involved in complex and technically challenging developments that make a real impact on communities across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services systems including: Power distribution, Lighting and lighting controls, Emergency and standby power, Communications and ICT infrastructure, Security and access control systems

About You

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years' experience in building services consulting.
• Demonstrated experience delivering large, complex projects within sectors such as: Transport, Hospitals and Health, Education, Defence or Commercial or Government infrastructure
• Strong understanding of Australian Standards and relevant codes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience leading project teams and mentoring engineers.
• Chartered status or working towards Chartership is highly regarded.
