Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond is seeking a New Graduate Electrical Engineer for Starlink to own the hardware life-cycle and collaborate across disciplines. The role emphasizes high-reliability electronics for satellites and rapid hardware bring-up.

You will work with avionics, payload, RF, and test teams, applying Python/C++ skills while learning full lifecycle development from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics or STEM discipline.
• 1+ years of experience designing/analysing circuits, electronics, or hardware.
• Graduating winter 2026 or spring/summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly develop high-reliability electronics for satellites and spacecraft.
• Drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, hardware bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, test, and on-orbit performance of complex electrical designs.
• Get hands-on and support hardware through production, satellite integration, and flight.
• Work closely with engineers from adjacent disciplines to deliver integrated hardware.
• Challenge assumptions and approach problems with an open mind.
