Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Electric Propulsion Test Engineer for Starlink satellites. You will design and execute tests for thrusters, systems, and components, owning campaigns from plan to results. You’ll guide technicians to build articles, fabricate stands, and automate test processes to accelerate development.

Qualifications include a STEM bachelor’s degree and hands-on hardware experience. Master’s degree is a plus; proficiency with Python, DAQ systems, and CAD tools is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace engineering, physics, or related STEM field.
• 1+ years of hands-on hardware experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute rigorous tests at the system, thruster, and component level.
• Own test campaigns from test plan creation to data review and equipment design.
• Lead technicians to build test articles, fabricate test stands, and execute test processes.
