Job summary

Australian Industry Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre, in partnership with Switch Electrics, invites applications for an Apprentice Electrician based in Albert Park, SA. You'll start with hands-on servicing of commercial kitchen appliances and learn to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

The program covers a full four-year Certificate III Electrotechnology, with training fees and PPE provided, plus mentoring and access to apprenticeship support loans.

Qualifications

• Willingness to undertake a Certificate III Electrotechnology over 4 years.
• Completed Certificate II Electrotechnology (or current mid-Trade Apprentice).
• Positive, can-do attitude with a strong focus on safety.
• Driver's licence and own transport.
• Year 12 graduate with strong mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with servicing, repairs, maintenance and fault finding of commercial kitchen appliances.
• Develop understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings to determine job requirements.
• Work with electrical tools of the trade.

Location:

Albert Park, SA

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8.00am- 4.00pm
