Job summary

Schneider Electric is offering an Apprenticeship in Electrical Technology at Brisbane Airport. You will learn from passionate professionals and gain a nationally recognised Trade Qualification while working on real projects in building services and automation.

Ideal candidates have Year 12, a Certificate II in Electrotechnology, a driver’s licence, and a commitment to safety. Training fees and PPE are provided, with mentoring support throughout the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with right to work in Australia.
• Completion of Year 12 High School or equivalent.
• Driver's licence and reliable transport.

The Apprenticeship

If you have a keen and curious interest in electrical technology, then this is the Apprenticeship for you! This hands‑on Apprenticeship will see you learning from passionate professionals as you develop your skills and gain a nationally recognised Trade Qualification.

Skills

• Develop an understanding of electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and diagrams to determine job requirements
• Plan and measure the layout of wiring systems
• Test, find, and repair electrical problems and breakdowns
• Install, troubleshoot and commission electrical and electronic assets
• Connect electrical equipment to power supplies
• Coding and a focus on Building Management Systems

Location: Brisbane Airport

Hours of Work: 8.00am– 4.00pm (negotiable), Monday - Friday
