Job summary

Zeal Futures invites aspiring electricians to join an apprenticeship in Ulladulla, NSW. You will study for a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician over four years while gaining hands-on experience, training, mentoring, and real career opportunities.

The program emphasises safety, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, with nationwide recognition and ongoing support to help you develop essential electrical skills and a successful future in the trades.

Qualifications

• Studying Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (4-year program).
• Commitment to on- and off-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Assist tradesman to perform electrical tasks.
• Preventative electrical maintenance: attend breakdowns, fault find, and rectify faults.
• Use hand tools, power tools, electrical multimeter and computer applications.
• Install, setup, fault find, repair and maintain electrical systems in buildings.
• Carry out other duties within apprentice scope as required.

Job description

Whilst studying a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician over 4 years, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Assist tradesman to perform electrical tasks
• Preventative electrical maintenance: attend breakdowns, fault find, and rectify electrical faults to maintain reliable electrical assets
• Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical multimeter and computer applications
• Install, setup, fault find, repair and maintain a wide range of electrical systems and equipment in building and premises.
• Carry out other duties that are within the limits of apprentice skills, competence and ability as required

Must-haves -

• WHS Construction Induction (White Card)
• Drivers Licence (P1 and above)
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment Audiometry, Spirometry, Drug and Alcohol Screening, Functional Capacity Assessment
• Willingness to gain Hepatitis and Tetanus immunisations
