Job summary

Standby Power Services Pty Ltd is offering an Apprentice Electrician role in a hands-on workshop environment. You’ll learn by diagnosing, repairing, servicing and testing a range of electrical and industrial equipment, including generators and power tools.

This is a 4-year electrical apprenticeship combining on-the-job training with formal study, with guidance from an experienced team to help you become a qualified electrician.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills and genuine interest in how things work.
• Interest in electrical equipment, maintenance and fault finding.

Responsibilities

The Role

Standby Power Services Pty Ltd is looking for a curious, motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician to join our team.

This is a great opportunity to learn your trade in a hands-on workshop environment, working with a wide range of electrical and industrial equipment.

No two days are the same. You'll gain experience diagnosing, repairing, servicing and testing equipment including:

• Generators

• Welding equipment

• Power tools

• Electrical equipment and systems

• And a wide range of other industrial equipment

You'll work alongside an experienced team who will support you throughout your apprenticeship while you develop the practical skills and knowledge required to become a qualified electrician.

The Apprenticeship

This is a 4-year electrical apprenticeship, combining on-the-job training with formal training and study.
