Job summary

Yarrabee Coal Company, based near Blackwater, Queensland, invites applications for an Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team. You will work on-site at Yarrabee Coal Mine and progress under a Field Officer from MRAEL who will mentor you through your trade.

This apprenticeship offers structured learning, safety training, and real hands-on experience across plant and machinery maintenance, with support from maintenance leaders and our Training department to ensure you progress and stay

Qualifications

• Must have completed or be completing year 12.
• Current manual driver's licence required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment assessments.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.
• Eligible to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assist on-site electrical apprentice tasks and training.
• Work with a Field Officer for guidance and progression.
• Support maintenance teams and adhere to safety procedures.
• Participate in pre-employment assessments and onboarding.
