Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare's Springfield Lakes OSHC service is seeking enthusiastic educators to support before/after school and vacation care, creating a safe, engaging environment and building strong relationships with families and the community.

You will assist in planning activities aligned with My Time Our Place, supervise children, and contribute to a respectful, professional team. A Certificate III/ Diploma, Blue Card, and willingness to complete training are valued.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services, or working towards per ACECQA guidelines.
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Current completion or willingness to complete mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
• Passion for education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment.
• Knowledge of NQF, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire.
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace.
• Willingness to take Child Protection training as required.

Job Requirements:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines would be desirable but not essential.
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
• Willingness to take Child Protection training as required
