Job summary

Goodstart Mackay region is hiring Educators, Casual Educators and Senior Educators across multiple centres. The role requires an ECE qualification and experience in child care. You will plan activities, engage with children and families, and work as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care required.
• Experience working in a childcare or early learning environment preferred.

• Blue Card/Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one.

What we're looking for

• Relevant early childhood education qualification (e.g., Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care)
• Demonstrated experience working in a childcare or early learning environment
• Strong understanding of child development and the ability to plan and implement age-appropriate activities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Current QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or the ability to obtain one
