Kool Beanz North Queensland is seeking a passionate Assistant Educator (Certificate III / Diploma) for a part-time role across multiple services in North Queensland. You will support the teaching team, nurture child-led learning, and engage with families and the community to uphold high standards of care.

The role emphasizes creativity, flexibility, and genuine enthusiasm for supporting each child’s development. WWC and First Aid are required or must be obtained.

Qualifications

• Certificate III / Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or actively working toward a qualification.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWC) and First Aid certification or willing to obtain these.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Genuine love for children and a commitment to making a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the educator team to deliver engaging programs aligned with the EYLF and embracing child-led learning.
• Building strong, respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the local community.
• Assisting the centre to meet and exceed the National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Providing flexible support across rooms as a Float Educator to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

We are currently seeking a passionate Assistant Educator who is Certificate III / Diploma qualified or actively working towards their qualification. This role is ideal for someone looking for a part-time position (up to 37.5 hours per week across 5 days) and who brings creativity, flexibility, and genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s learning and development. We value educators who are aligned with our philosophy and are passionate about meeting the individual developmental needs of every child.
