Job summary

Kool Beanz invites applications for an Assistant Educator at our Clear Island Waters childcare and kindergarten on the Gold Coast. You will support a team to implement EYLF-based programs and help children learn through discovery, play and exploration.

Ideal candidates hold Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be working towards), current First Aid/CPR, Blue Card, strong communication, organisation and a sunny, energetic attitude.

Qualifications

Job description

Our new Kool Beanz Clear Island Waters childcare and kindergarten centre is now open on the Gold Coast.

Thoughtfully renovated and designed to support a nurturing early-learning experience, our centre offers dedicated spaces for up to 130 children, aged six weeks to six years. As a familyowned and operated centre, we’re excited to have taken over new ownership and to provide the local community a welcoming, safe and nurturing environment where children grow and flourish.

Our purposebuilt centre inspires curiosity through discovery, learning and play programs. Children can enjoy a diverse range of learning spaces, including a handson STEM room, calming Zen Garden, our very own bird aviary, two large outdoor play areas, quiet reading nooks, and outdoor easels encouraging creativity and expression amongst nature and mature trees.

We are looking for an Assistant Educator either Certificate III or Diploma qualified or working towards obtaining a qualification to be a part of the Kool Beanz family.

The Role

• Supporting a team of educators to implement programs, follow the EYLF and share the excitement of child-led discovery.
• Creating long-lasting connections and partnerships with your local community, schools, and families.
• Supporting the centre to Meet/Exceed the National Quality Standards

About You

Working Hours

You must be available to work within the hours of 6.30am and 6.30pm. This role could suit a qualified educator looking to work a couple of days per week to start with and then building up to 5 days per week as the centre grows in occupancy. Must be able to cover Wednesday and Friday.
