Job summary

Christ the King Outside School Hours Care in Deception Bay is seeking a casual Educator to care for up to 45 children, about 15 hours weekly before/after school and during vacation care. You’ll plan and deliver engaging activities, prepare nutritious snacks, and maintain a clean, welcoming space, building meaningful connections with children and families.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate III in Children's Services (or ACECQA equivalent) is desirable.
• Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Passion for the education and care of school‑aged children in a play‑based environment.
• Effective workplace communication skills.
• Willingness to step into an Educational Leader or RPIC role as required.

Join Our Team at Christ the King OSHC, Deception Bay!

Catholic Early EdCare is seeking an enthusiastic and caring casual Educator to join our team at Christ the King Outside School Hours Care in Deception Bay, caring for up to 45 children. This is a casual role of approximately 15 hours per week, working before and after school and during vacation care.

You'll be working right in the heart of the school community, with access to a range of fantastic spaces — including a dedicated OSHC room, spacious oval, library, hall, and covered outdoor areas. It's the ideal setting for active, hands‑on programs where children can explore, connect, and thrive.

As part of our team, you'll help create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children feel supported and inspired. You'll assist in planning and delivering engaging activities, preparing nutritious snacks, and maintaining a clean, welcoming space — all while building meaningful connections and making every day enjoyable for the children in your care. Job Requirements

• Hold (or are working towards) a Diploma or Certificate III in Children's Services or an ACECQA equivalent qualification (desirable)
