Job summary

YMCA Palmview OSHC in Canberra, ACT, AU seeks energetic Educators on a casual basis to supervise before and after school sessions and Vacation Care activities.

You will create a welcoming, safe space where children feel supported and inspired to grow, promoting wellbeing and friendships through play. A Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services is preferred, with First Aid/CPR and Blue Card eligibility.

Qualifications

• Hold or be studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services, School Age Education and Care or similar.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions.
• Run or assist with activities during Vacation Care.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive space where children feel safe and supported.
• Promote children’s wellbeing, confidence and friendships through play.

Are you passionate about promoting children's wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Palmview Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.
