Job summary

YMCA Brisbane is seeking casual Educators for Bray Park OSHC to supervise before/after school sessions and vacation care. You will help create a safe, inclusive space that fosters wellbeing, confidence and creativity in children aged 5–12.

You’ll bring energy, enthusiasm and the ability to run hands‑on activities while promoting positive social learning and friendships.

Qualifications

• Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services, School Age Education and Care or similar.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• A great sense of fun, energy and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions
• Run or assist with a variety of hands‑on activities during Vacation Care
• Create a welcoming and inclusive space where all children feel safe, supported and inspired to grow
• Promote children’s wellbeing, confidence, and friendships through play

About the role

Are you passionate about promoting children’s wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Bray Park Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you’ll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.
