Job summary

The YMCA Gabbinbar Outside School Hours Care team is recruiting energetic Educators on a casual basis to support children before school, after school, and during holidays. You’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment fostering social learning and creativity.

Ideal candidates hold Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services or are studying towards, with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to safety for all children.

• Strong communication with children and families.
• Commitment to safety and inclusivity in learning environments.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions.
• Run or assist with hands-on activities during Vacation Care.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive space for all children to grow.
• Promote children’s wellbeing, confidence, and friendships through play.

About the role

Are you passionate about promoting children’s wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Gabbinbar Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you’ll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.

What you’ll do
