Job summary

The YMCA Queensland is hiring energetic Educators to support children in Palmview Before & After School Care on a casual basis. You will supervise, engage, and run activities that promote wellbeing and confidence in a welcoming setting.

Ideal candidates hold or study towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services, with a fun, energetic and creative approach and a strong commitment to safety and inclusion for all children.

• Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services, School Age Education and Care or similar
• It’s important to bring a positive, energetic and creative approach to activities
• Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions
• Run or assist with a variety of hands-on activities during Vacation Care

What You'll Do

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions

What You'll Bring

• Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services, School Age Education and Care or similar
• A great sense of fun, energy and creativity
• A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
