The Grove Academy Edgeworth is seeking an Educator to create a fun, enriching, and safe environment for children. You will collaborate with a passionate team to implement engaging programs that spark curiosity and learning.

Role emphasizes observation, relationships with families, and maintaining high safety standards. This part‑time position (Wed–Fri) requires a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and WWCC clearance.

About the Role

As an Educator at The Grove Academy, you’ll play a key role in creating a fun, enriching, and safe environment for children to thrive. You’ll collaborate with a passionate team and contribute to the implementation of exciting programs that inspire curiosity and learning. Key responsibilities include:

Delivering fun, engaging and milestone aligned learning experiences

Building positive relationships with children, families, and your team

Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment

Supporting children’s growth through observation and documentation

Contributing to a culture of collaboration and fun

Ensuring the safety, health and wellbeing of all children is prioritised at all times

Actively supervising children and maintaining awareness of risks in the environment

Reporting any concerns or incidents in line with service policies and procedures

Please note: This is a part‑time position working Wednesday to Friday.

Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone who embodies passion and enthusiasm. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

Strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS

Great communication and teamwork skills

Dedication to providing quality care and fostering children’s learning

A positive attitude and love for creating memorable experiences.

Strong understanding of child protection responsibilities and mandatory reporting

Ability to identify and respond to risks to children’s safety

Completed the Foundations of Child Safety training (or willing to complete prior to commencement).

Successful applicants will be required to hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
