Job summary

The Grove Academy in New South Wales is seeking an Educational Leader on a fixed-term maternity leave contract to inspire and guide educators in delivering high-quality early childhood education. You will lead the Grove Theory curriculum, mentor staff, ensure EYLF and NQS standards, and foster a culture of growth, safety and collaboration across the centre.

Qualifications

• A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care is required.
• Proven experience mentoring and guiding educators.
• Deep understanding of EYLF, NQS, and curriculum development.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Passion for inspiring learning and innovation.
• Knowledge of child protection responsibilities and mandatory reporting.
• Ability to identify and respond to risks to children’s safety.
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of the curriculum across the centre.

About the Role

As an Educational Leader at The Grove Academy, you’ll inspire and guide our educators in delivering high‑quality education programs. You’ll lead the implementation of our innovative Grove Theory curriculum, ensuring a dynamic and stimulating learning environment for children.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the implementation of our curriculum across the centre
• Mentoring and supporting educators to deliver outstanding practices
• Guiding the team in meeting and exceeding the EYLF and NQS standards
• Collaborating with educators to create meaningful and inspiring learning experiences
• Promoting a culture of growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Skills & Experience

We’re looking for a visionary leader who is passionate about early childhood education. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care

• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for inspiring learning and innovation
• Strong understanding of child protection responsibilities and mandatory reporting

• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries at all times
• Completed the Foundations of Child Safety training (or willing to complete prior to commencement).
