Job summary

Thurgoona Early Learning Centre in Thurgoona NSW is seeking an Educator with a Diploma, Certificate 3, or currently working towards, to join our family-owned early childhood service catering for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Applicants must have NSW Working with Children Check, First Aid/CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, and Child Safety Training, plus knowledge of the NQS and EYLF. We offer above award wages, Birthday Day Off, PD opportunities, and a supportive management team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Diploma or Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care (or currently pursuing).
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
• Current Child Safety Training.
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework.

Thurgoona Early Learning Centre – Thurgoona NSW

Thurgoona Early Learning Centre is a family owned, architecturally designed early childhood education and care service in Thurgoona catering for ages 3 months to 5 years.

At our centre, shoes are optional, getting dirty is compulsory and our inclusive and unique learning experiences instill in children a lifetime love of learning. Our focus is on allowing children to be free, choose how they play and learn and discover their ‘wildhood’. Our unique outdoor environment features four sandpits, two large bike tracks, a waterpark, a large grassy area, a barnyard full of animals and a Garden World where children can learn how to tend to a variety of herbs and vegetables.

We are looking for passionate educators and ECTs to join our team.

The successful applicant must have:

• Bachelor, Diploma or Certificate 3 of Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
• Current NSW Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
• Current Child Safety Training
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework.
