Job summary

Woongarrah ELC is a brand new centre opening soon on the NSW Central Coast, seeking full-time Certificate III Educators who are passionate about early childhood education and care and have sector experience.

You will build positive relationships with children, families and the local community and help shape a high-quality learning program while ensuring a safe, stimulating environment for every child.

Qualifications

• Recognised Early Childhood Qualification (Certificate III in Childcare).
• Passion for Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Skills to lead other educators, delivering care and educational programs.

Responsibilities

• Building positive and caring relationships with the children and their families.
• Observing, documenting, interpreting and evaluating the children's progress.
• Planning and programming an outstanding educational program for our children.
• Complying with the relevant government regulations and EYLF/NQS guidance.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment and supporting each child's development.

We are currently seeking full time positions of Certificate III Educators who arepassionate about early childhood education and care and hasexperience in the sector.

As a Diploma & Certificate III Educator your rolewill entail:

• Building positive and caringrelationships with the children and their families
• Applying your pedagogical knowledge and expertise to ensure the individual needs of all children are met
• Observing, documenting, interpreting and evaluating the children's progress,
• Keeping informed about the NQF, NQS and the current National Regulations plus current thinking, research and practice while implementing the EYLF
• Planning and programming an outstanding educational program for our children
• Complying with the relevant government regulations
• Meet and exceed the individual needs of each child in all areas of their development
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Create a supportive, stimulating and secure learning environment for the children

Skills and experience you will need:

• Recognised Early Childhood Qualification (Certificate Three in Childcare)
• Passion for Early Childhood Education and Care
• Skills to lead other educators, motivating them to excel as you deliver care and educational programs
• A strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
• Current First Aid and CPR Training
• Child Protection Certificate
• Hold a current Working with Children Check
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
