Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare is seeking an enthusiastic OSHC Educator in Nambour to provide warm, nurturing care before and after school and during vacation care. You will design engaging activities, support children’s learning, and collaborate with a dedicated team to create a safe and welcoming environment.

Candidates should hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, possess a current Queensland Blue Card, and have or be willing to obtain First Aid, CPR, and related

Qualifications

• Hold (or be working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent.
• Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check) is required.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in an inclusion support role or related qualification is valued.

Responsibilities

• Engage and supervise children across before school, after school, and vacation care.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and social development.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Maintain a clean and organised OSHC environment.

• Comply with all relevant policies and regulations

Job Requirements:

• Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA approved equivalent
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2 — Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded
• Experience in an inclusion support role or a Certificate III in Individual Support is highly regarded
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
