Kool Beanz Byron Bay Academy in Byron Bay is seeking a passionate Assistant Educator to support early childhood learning within a warm, family‑owned setting. This role is part‑time and focuses on delivering engaging activities aligned with EYLF while nurturing every child’s social and emotional growth.

You will work across rooms as a Float Educator, with WWC and First Aid requirements, and opportunities for professional development, staff referral bonuses, and generous discounts for your own

Qualifications

• Certificate III in ECEC or actively pursuing the qualification.
• WWC Check and First Aid current or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support educator team to deliver EYLF-aligned programs and child-led learning.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the local community.
• Assist the centre to meet and exceed the National Quality Standards (NQS).

We are currently seeking a passionate Assistant Educator who is Certificate III qualified or actively working towards their qualification. This role is ideal for someone looking for a part-time position and who brings creativity, flexibility, and genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s learning and development. We value educators who are aligned with our philosophy and are passionate about meeting the individual developmental needs of every child.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the educator team to deliver engaging programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and embracing child-led learning.

You will have:

• Qualifications: Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care or actively working toward a qualification.
• Compliance: Current Working with Children Check (WWC) and First Aid certification or willing to obtain these.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
