Job summary

Edge Early Learning seeks qualified Early Years Educators to join our Beaudesert centre. We welcome Certificate III and Diploma-qualified educators who bring energy, creativity and genuine care, with opportunities to grow within our forward-thinking organisation.

Your hourly rate will be negotiated based on qualifications and experience, with access to a Worker Retention Payment. This casual role requires flexibility to work opening and closing shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or Graduate Diploma/Masters with 2–3 years’ Educator experience in a long day care setting in Australia.
• Working with Children Check is mandatory; GECCKO training and RRHAN Fundamentals & Masterclass are mandatory.
• First Aid & CPR, asthma, and anaphylaxis certificates are mandatory.

• Plan and implement engaging educational programs aligned to each child’s needs.
• Build meaningful relationships with children and families to foster a welcoming environment.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and ensure a safe, nurturing setting.

The Opportunity

Are you a qualified Early Years Educator ready to bring energy, creativity and genuine care to a purpose-built centre? We're looking for Certificate III and Diploma-qualified educators to join our centre — people who love what they do and want to grow with a forward-thinking organisation.

1. This role is NOT eligible for employer-sponsored visas (visa sponsorship). You must already hold the right to work in Australia. 2. On this occasion, we are unable to accept applicants working towards their Certificate III qualification, or applicants whose only qualification is a Graduate Diploma or Masters of Teaching without the required experience (see below). 3. Our centres operate extended hours. Whilst we do our best to be flexible, candidates must be available to work opening shifts, closing shifts, or both. We are unable to accommodate school-hours-only availability.

Qualifications

• Completed Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and CareOR Graduate Diploma / Masters of Teaching with a minimum 2–3 years’ Educator experience in a long day care setting within Australia

Certificates & Checks

• Working with Children Check, mandatory
• National Child Safety Training (GECCKO), mandatory
• RRHAN Fundamentals & Masterclass (SA), mandatory
• Training to respond to child abuse and neglect (ACT)
• First Aid & CPR Certificate/s
• Asthma Management Certificate
• Anaphylaxis Certificate
