Job summary

Journey Early Learning Templestowe is seeking an Educational Leader to guide our teaching team and mentor educators in delivering high-quality, play-based learning aligned with EYLF and NQS. The role focuses on supporting continuous improvement and building strong relationships with children and families.

The successful candidate will lead curriculum planning, foster reflective practice, and drive professional development across the service.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education required.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Strong understanding of EYLF, NQS, and Child Safe Standards.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience.
• Passion for supporting educators and creating outstanding outcomes for children.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support educators to deliver high-quality, play-based learning programs.
• Guide curriculum planning in line with the EYLF.
• Foster a culture of reflection, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
• Support compliance with the National Quality Framework and contribute to exceeding outcomes.
• Inspire your team through coaching, modelling best practice, and professional development.
