Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking an Educational Leader for Prahran, VIC to mentor educators and elevate program quality. The role focuses on implementing the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), supporting curriculum planning and reflective practice, and driving improvement under the National Quality Framework (NQF).

You will work closely with the Centre Director to ensure outstanding outcomes for children while modelling Busy Bees values and safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Commitment to child safety and Busy Bees values.
• Approved Early Childhood qualification or working towards one.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQF.
• Experience mentoring or supporting educators.
• Confidence in curriculum planning, documentation and reflective practice.
• Passion for quality early learning and educator growth.
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach educators to strengthen teaching practice and program quality.
• Guide EYLF implementation across the centre.
• Support curriculum planning, documentation and reflective practice.
• Drive continuous improvement aligned with the NQF.
• Lead professional discussions and learning opportunities for the team.
• Collaborate with the Centre Director to support quality outcomes for children.
