Job summary

NKA Academy in South Wentworthville, NSW is seeking an experienced Educational Leader (Diploma holder) to guide and support our early childhood educators in delivering high‑quality educational programs.

This part‑time role focuses on developing, implementing and evaluating the centre's program in line with the Early Years Learning Framework, coaching staff, collaborating with the team and families, and ensuring regulatory documentation is maintained.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience as an Educational Leader or similar pedagogical role.
• Excellent understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families and the team.
• Ability to lead, mentor and inspire a team of educators.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and delivering exceptional educational outcomes.

Responsibilities

NKA Academy is seeking an experienced and passionate Educational Leader (Diploma Holder) to join our team in South Wentworthville, NSW. This part-time role is responsible for guiding and supporting our early childhood educators in providing high-quality educational programs for children in our care.

What you'll be doing

Develop, implement and evaluate the centre's educational program to ensure it aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework

Coach and mentor educators to continually improve their teaching practices and support children's learning and development

Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to curriculum planning and delivery

Liaise with families to understand their needs and incorporate their input into the program

Maintain records and documentation to meet regulatory requirements

Identify opportunities for professional development and support the ongoing training of the team

What we’re looking for

A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent

Demonstrated experience as an Educational Leader or in a similar pedagogical role

Excellent understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families and the wider team

Ability to lead, mentor and inspire a team of early childhood educators
