The Y Queensland seeks an enthusiastic Educational Leader to join the Ashgrove Outside School Hours Care team on a permanent part-time basis. You’ll shape fun, engaging programs that support children’s learning and development outside school hours, guiding a team of educators and ensuring a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent (desirable).
• Minimum three years’ experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of the approved learning framework.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the creation, delivery, and ongoing improvement of inspiring educational programs that spark curiosity and growth
• Guide, motivate, and empower educators to shine in their roles and reach their full potential
• Champion child-centred, play-based learning aligned with the latest frameworks
• Build a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture where every team member feels valued
• Lead by example, encouraging reflective practice and best-in-class teaching approaches
• Collaborate with families, schools, and community partners to support each child
• Ensure all programs meet compliance requirements and high standards of care
